Yin Yoga
Foundations
50-Hour YACEP Continuing Education
— In-Person

Learn to teach from the inside out and to lead practitioners to stillness
Yin Yoga is one of the most quietly powerful yoga practices. And yet, teaching it well takes far more than simply holding poses for a long time. It asks you to understand the body on a deeper level — the connective tissues, the nervous system– but also apprehend the emotional layers that surface when we decide to stay still.
This in-person training in English, in the heart of Milan, is an invitation to slow down, go deeper, learn the art of mindful resilience, and return to your mat with fresh eyes.
What will you learn?
Over 50 immersive hours, you'll build a rich, well-rounded foundation in Yin Yoga — both as a personal practice and as a teaching methodology.
-
Philosophy & Traditional Chinese Medicine roots — the Taoist principles and meridian theory that underpin Yin Yoga
-
Anatomy for Yin — understanding fascia, connective tissue, and why Yin works differently from other styles
-
Yin Asana in-depth — exploring the full range of Yin postures, their variations, and props (blocks, bolster, strap, blanket)
-
Sequencing — how to build balanced, intentional classes for different intentions and populations (yin flow, deep yin, ...)
-
Holding space — the art of guiding students through long meditations and to use your voice to create an experience
-
Contraindications & modifications — teaching safely and inclusively
-
Weaving Yin into your existing teaching — integrating what you learn into your style
